How the Headlight Restoration Kit Works
Before you begin, wash your headlights thoroughly with any type of car soap and rinse them well
Optional: open your car's hood for easier access to the headlights
Put on the supply glove to protect your hands, make sure they are clean and dry
Open the Step 1 Oxidation Remover Wipes and rub the headlight in a circular scrubbing motion
IMPORTANT! Thoroughly dry the headlight using the provided Dry Clothes
Repeat on your second headlight
Open the Step 2 Restoration & Protection Wipes
Starting at the top, carefully wipe the coating onto the headlight in a single direction. When you reach the far side of the headlight, start back on the other side and overlap your previous wipe by 50%
Repeat on your second headlight

Thoroughly dry the headlights after using the Step 1 Oxidation Remover Wipes
Allow the headlights to dry for at least 30 minutes after using the Step 2 Restoration & Protection Wipes before exposing them to sunlight or rain after completing the restoration
Avoid cleaning or touching the headlights for at least 48 hours to maximize the penetration of the protective coating
Tape off the area surrounding the headlight to avoid touching the vehicle's body (recommended but optional)

It will not but we still recommend taping the area immediately surrounding the headlight assembly. If you touch the vehicle's paint, simply wipe it off right away with a dry cloth. We recommend wearing gloves to make sure you are working in a dry environment. Without gloves, you risk getting natural skin oils on the headlight, which can impact results and durability. It's also recommended to wear gloves in general when dealing with cleaning agents and compounds.
